The'Transcool' - a useful addition

We are on site at the moment and on a non EHU site.  With the weather being as hot as hell at the moment (not complaining) I am glad of my Transcool evaporative cooler/blower. Works on 240v/24v/12v, is very light and as we have a reasonable panel , does not drain the battery at all as the panel can keep up with the demand. With the addition of being able to place certain aromatic oils in the water, the caravan is a lovely place to be!

Sounds ideal Merve - where did it come from - I can only find one in Australia!  I could have done with one in France - the dogs would have been happier!

Got it from the NEC show. They seem to be there at the shows. Yes, the price is high but to stay cool, it's worth it.

This sounds like a powered version of the "Ohsocool" that was in use in the 1950s.  I may have spelled it incorrectly should anyone try to google it.

The hotter the weather the more it cooled.
