We normally use the table that came with the c/van and just relaxer chairs,(saves add weight)

cheers folks, I dont have the luxury of using the MH tables, they are table tops with a pole into the floor for the rear lounge and the dining area is the clip onto the wall job.

Thanks for the tip with adjustable legs, never thought about the uneven ground and adjusting individual legs to suit

Why not visit a caravan breaker, and see if you can purchase a free standing table? You could do away with clip on job then, and use this both inside or outside. (Depends if clip in table is used to make up a bed of course!)

other option might be: if your pole tables slot into floor via tube upright, if you have two, why not put a mat on floor put one table upside down on this, and then use tube between two tables, freestanding?

We have two of these chairs which are great for use at the dining table in the awning or, with footrests, for relaxing.

This table has adjustable legs.

Takethedogalong, great idea but yes the table is used to cover the void to make up a bed aswell.

One thing i want to note aswell is the helpfulness of everyone on this site, really is amazing and comforting to know there is always helpful, pleasant people to turn to.

You can get a tripod base that fits on the tube of your tables ,thats what we had when we had motor caravans

The Lafuma type recliners are quite heavy. We replaced ours with these:

To all intents and purposes the same chairs, lighter, brighter colours and at that price, with the CC / camc / wotever discount on showing your membership card are pretty good value.

We also use the caravan table outside. Should have thought of it earlier than we did 

Thanks you, the table is just what we were looking for so I've just ordered one.  £26 from Amazon including delivery just in case anyone else needs one. 

Like Deleted User User we've never found a dual purpose chair which has been any good, so we have very cheap folding plastic chairs ( bought for 4 euros each from a French hypermarket about eighteen years ago) which are lightweight and not bad to sit at for long meals around the table.  We also now have a pair of Lafuma lightweight loungers which we use for almost everything else.   You can check out the weights of authentic Lafuma products (you must get the aluminium and not the steel ones) as they are all labelled with weights.  We also have a table with adjustable legs.  If you don't you'll almost always find that it isn't level!!

We have tried Isabella chairs with footstools as dual purpose chairs, and were very grateful when they were stolen, because it meant we could buy something more comfortable and go back to our old plastic dining chair.

Interestingly I looked up the weight of the Lafuma alternatives quoted in a post above, and they are 7.2 kg.  Our Lafumas are 5.8 kg. so distinctly lighter, both for transport, load weighting and simply carrying around the pitch.
