Good day everyone,

I was wondering whether those of you out there with Polar or Taylormade covers could tell me if the outer covering is waterproof. I have heard that Maypole that a dealer uses on kitting his VW vans out with, take up water so when removing and packing away to leave they are sodden. I suppose the plus side of that type of fabric is that it wont scratch paintwork, Im wondering what the Taylormade and Polar ones are like for that and their construction.

Thanks in advance

Taylormade screens are made in layers to provide the insulation needed. They are waterproof and you only need wipe the outside before packing. They do not absorb water at all. In fact they do the job they’re designed for. 10/10 👍🏻

PS Silverscreen have the same good reputation. I know nothing of Polar.

Good move, I reckon.

We've had 2 of them (for different model base vehicles) and it must tell you something that we bought the same brand the second time.
