I have a 2007 Elddis Crusader and want to replace all the halogen bulbs with LEDs. I cant find the correct size glass type replacements anywhere.

They are 32mm in diameter and have the markings '12v 10w 30degrees 206.

I will be very grateful if anyone can tell me where I can buy these bulbs.

Try this site. When we converted our previous van we found everything we wanted. They were also very helpful when I phoned for advice. Not the cheapest but good.😀

Hi Sue,

I blew one of the two halogen bulbs in the kitchen overhead lighting unit on my van.   At the time I had just changed all of my bulbs at home which is saving me lots of dosh, I have 16 bulbs at home and it was quite straight forward.

However, when I attempted to change the van bulbs they would not work.    I enquired at a local lighting specialist wholesale store and was informed that I would need to replace the whole unit because LED use different drivers to the halogen ones.    I also struggled to buy 10w halogen in this country but picked some up in Spain last month.    So I am sticking with halogen on the van for the time being.

A point to note if you are not familiar with halogen bulbs.    Halogen produce approx' 20% of lumens compared to 80% LED and produce 80% heat compared with 20% with LED.    Halogen burn out very quickly and cause heat damage to the fittings and thats why it is important not to uprate the wattage to get more light; because you are risking a fire because of the extra heat.   Hope this helps.

Another vote for these guys mentioned here. Bought ours at a national show, bought the white as opposed to their suggestion of warm white! Put first bulb in and understood the recommendtion,  they happily swopped our bulbs. So easy to buy - they check your halogen bulb fitting and shape of light fitting and sell you what you need. Just remove the cover,  to me the trickiest bit of all!, and fit LED bulbs bending the prongs if necessary. Simples even I could do it. 😉

It is a standard 12v bulb, the fact that it is halogen should not be an issue.

The issue is that type 206 does not seem to exist in any type (halogen, element or LED).

Take a picture and send to the vendor above.

Note with LED that they are polarised so if they dont work you need to take them out and rotate them.

If they are screw type you may need to reverse the wires in the fitting but this is not typical.

The only 10W 12v are the G4 type as in this listing https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Long-Life-G4-Halogen-Capsule-Light-Bulbs-12v-5w-or-10w-or-20w-or-35w-/291015314408

There is a LED version see https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bulbs-Halogen-Equivalent-100lm-Bi-Pin/dp/B01HUUZ2LE
