Hi again folks , we are looking for recommendations for a new porch awning for our new affinity 550 we are hoping to pick up in the next couple of weeks , on our last van a swift challenger we bought a  kampa air 260 but we sold it as we found when we were in a sloping pitch the air beams didn't seem to sit right ,ie slightly buckled , we also had a lightweight kampa 200 for winter use as it was easy to dry at home . We would ideally prefer a 330 but on the 550 it would cover about eight inches of both Windows and my fear is that it we would damage the Windows with the storm poles so may need to stick with a 260  , the long and short of it is we don't have any local dealers who stock awning so would like anyone's experience before parting with any monies to the tinterweb , full awning not an option Tia

Hah, how strange, we have just changed our challenger for a Affinity 550. and also use a Kampa 260. We are out this weekend and will be putting the 260 up for the first time, so will post a couple of pictures for you to have a look at.

We have a 550 since July 14 and we use a 260 Sunncamp Swift for winter trips and it is the distance between the door and the front window that is 'tight' for the awning pad/pole to fit against the van and the electric locker door is 'fouled' to open. The rear sits clear of the cassette door.

In summer we use a Kampa 390 which again has the same problem for the door however it clears the rear window fully.
