Hi there any advice re Elddis affinity 550 4 birth 2018 insurance approved hitch lock & wheel lock much appreciated.

Infact any advice re first time touring much appreciated Joe & Baz ☺️

For your first trip, make it short to try everything out and don't travel too far from home. You can then return home easily if you have forgotten anything.

Agree with the above.

Don't buy too much caravan stuff - we all have heaps of 'that looks useful stuff' that's not needed. Watch the weight of things you take to your payload.

Once you've had a few trips you can 'stock' the caravan with basics so you're always ready to go with minimum thought. Just clothes and fridge stuff at the last minute.

Don't forget your sense of humour, it's a steep learning  curve 🤣

AL-KO wheel lock and AL-KO hitch lock remember always take the hitch lock off when travelling, 3x 1mtr long decking planks with angle cut at each end to level van and align hitch lock I now use a Lock and Level device that I swear by.
