The circuit board for my motor-mover burnt out today. Panic! See attached photos . . .

Being single, it really is an essential bit of kit for me.  I wanted to give hope to others who may encounter a similar problem, by letting them know there’s a ready supply of unused, second-hand and refurbished circuit boards out there. I was able to source a like-for-like replacement on eBay for £75 from a company in Preston (A.P Caravan Services Ltd, a.k.a. caravan-movers-northwest), who were extremely helpful.

Several hours searching the internet showed me that my p.c.b./control unit was common to many other branded movers, so there's hope even if your brand or model has gone out of production. For the record, mine is about 10 years old and was originally a ‘Riviera Easi Move’ model UR203, but the same control unit (and remote) was used in some Royal, Towsure, Move Master and Enduro branded movers, all of which have similar model numbers (i.e. Ux203). However, note that you need to check that any replacement p.c.b. unit you get is compatible with your remote control, as the older units use a different radio frequency to the newer units. Always useful to talk to a bona-fide fitter/supplier. Hope my experience is useful to someone out there who may be in a similar panic.
