Whilst I have no idea what a "Moty" is I can say that I fitted a few Maxview dome type systems to touring caravans prior to retirement and that was 7 years ago! There were never any reported problems with those that I fitted.I would just say that maxview products are what I would call overpriced (in my opinion obviously) and the unit fitted to my current caravan (about 5 years ago) is anther well known make (Snipe) which cost me under £600 from an on line supplier and that has given no problems either.

I would agree with Dave....compared to the Snipe, the Maxview are similar prices (£1000 fitted?) but will add significant height to the vehicle (not good for toll charges abroad), will have a smaller 'dish' size and therefore smaller 'range', will not have any sort of skew angle adjustment...

advantages, it's under a cover...

I had a predecessor to the snipe and it was pretty darn good for a relatively low investment.

read some reviews and see what you think.

as a fully automatic dish, I'd say the Snipe was good value.
