Lightweight Porch Awning

We are looking to buy a new lightweight porch awning for weekends and can't decide which one to get.  We have trawled the internet and have decided there is just too much choice.  Being used to a full Dorema awning the lightweights just look too flimsy and some are prone to leaking. The most important factors are that it is sturdy and it doesn't leak. So who has got a lightweight awning and which is the best?  Your views would be really helpful.
