Leaking Aquaroll Container

Just discovered my aquaroll is leaking from both caps! Thought it was due to old age (the aquaroll's not mine!) and tried tightening the caps and fitting PTFE tape to make it more water-tight! Then put on my glasses and saw that both caps had cracks in the threaded part. Possibly due to over tightening in the winter months when it was well below freezing. Found replacement caps on line for about £4.50 but as a temporary measure before we get home, swapped one cap for one off our waste-water container and obviously cleaned the latter thoroughly and hey presto, all is well. Just have to make sure the waste water container doesn't get too full!
