Invisible Fixes

Hi this is my first time on the discussion, and I cannot beleive there is nothing on invisible fixes. I was sure that there would have been minor damage to facia and plastics around most of our Motorhomes and Caravans, that needed fixing or tiding from time to time.

I have a 20 year old Hymer, obviously there is some discolouration in the plastic after all these years. My question is simple can anyone recomment in the North West a company that does invisible fixes in plastics, so that they can match the actual fix to the colour (or discolour) of the plastic.

Thanks in advance to any help you can give.

On my previous motorhome I had some crazing on the roof moulding. It was covered under warranty and I just left it with the dealer but I am pretty sure they used a specialist company to do the repair which was perfect. What I am coming to is that I would ask a caravan/motorhome dealer near you to suggest companies you could use. I imagine they would be body repair shop?

Somewhat surprisingly, Carthago don't do touch up paint so I've purchased some "Ford Ivory White" and "Ford Polar Grey" spray cans and mixed them with a bit of white from a touch up tube of white. I've managed to get a fair match and have been ministering to the van this morning. A bit of T-Cut in a few days to blend it in and, to quote Eric Morecambe, "you can't see the joins".
