How much water is in your AquaRoll?

How do you know how much water is in your water container, AquaRoll, Waterhog etc?

Up to now I know when I have run out of water as nothing comes out of the tap. Or to see what I have left, I go outside and lift the container to see how heavy it is and guess how much is left. Is that 10 or 8 lt? How many have gone for a shower and half way through run out of water?

If there was a way to see how much water was in the container at a glance without going outside would that be a useful item to have?

Would you be interested in such a device that didn't require any modification to the container, or touch the water, were it available?

What are peoples thoughts?

Just give it a kick ... πŸ˜‚ We now have an on-board tank so we can see how much is in it before we shower, but before that just made sure the Aquaroll was full before shower time started.

I suppose an Aquaroll could be been made with a clear part so you could see the level .... similar to a gallon can of oil, but that would only work with the Aqua roll stood on end. 😞

To give it a kick or lift it, you have to go outside.  It might be raining or cold?  You have to get dressed.  Then when you kick it, does that tell you if you have 8 or 10 or 15lt left?  You could have a second container, or a third but you still don't know how full the container in use is.

Just fill it up prior to turning in!

We carry a length of bamboo to dip it during the day if necessary!

Is someone trying to sell a solution? An App that sends an alert to your phone perhaps ? πŸ˜€

Not selling, just getting people's opinions if such a device were available.

Even if I had an Aquaroll, I'd not bother with such a gizmo. It'd just be another gimmick and something that we've managed perfectly well without for decades. Eyes and experience do just fineπŸ‘
