Anyone out there with an Avtex Tourer 2 - when looking for CAMC UK Sites using the pre loaded application can it locate the Scottish Highlands sites e.g. Brora, Dunnet Bay or Altnaharra? Mine can't and Garmin has given me a really complicated "fix" to reload  all the sites as a POI??

Hi Sally, yes I do but have only just seen your post at midnight..... will get back to you tomorrow.... however we done the NC 500 in June '21, traveled from Dunnet Bay to Brora via John 'O' Groats & definitely used our Avtex 2

Is it necessary on the Tourer 2  to switch countries from England to Scotland in order to see the Scottish sites?

Hi Sally, the problem with mine is that I have a location set for the area where I live & it only searches for sites within 100 miles....

Have had a play around tonight & arrived at the following procedure:

Select 'Where to', UK Club Sites, tap the blue square to the left of the 'search bar', scroll down to 'A different town', enter Brora in the search bar where it says 'Enter Town', tap the green search icon in bottom right hand corner, it then gives a list of towns, select Brora, SUT it then gives the list of CAMC sites in the area....

Not exactly straight forward but it works undecided & lists all the sites to which you refer.

Hope this helps.

You would have thought that searching UK sites would be simple, it may well be if I hadn't got a destination set in 'Where I Am Now'

An alternative:

Where to:

UK Club Sites

Tap the blue icon in the top right hand corner, then scroll the map down to the area in Scotland around Inverness, then tap the blue search here button at bottom of screen.....

I know, I have too much time on my hands wink
