Some years ago (probably more than a decade) the Club produced a green leatherette cover for the biannual hand book and map, This came with pockets for membership card and a handy pen all in the Club then colours of green and gold.

Recently mine fell apart and started to shed it's green skin so was binned. I sent the Club an email asking if they had any left, the first reply asked for a photo as they were not sure what I was talking about. Did this and finally had a reply to the effect that 'we have found someone who remembers them' but sorry no more available.

I wonder if other members would be interested in purchasing such a cover if produced in the current colours and logo?

I would not use one either, not for aesthetic reasons, but I fasten the removable part of the most recent three covers to a cord  then tape them to the spine of the latest version. that way I have 'un-loseable' markers, complete with the 'Contents List ' for the sites I've picked wink.  Now fitting an all encompassing cover could possibly confuse my simple engineering skills I reckon. Not, of course, to mention the fact I might even forget where I'm going to camp next  without the use of them there page markers  embarassed So sorry but no --  they are not for Brian

Not for us either. It generally gets put on the bookshelf, where it stays. Hopefully the CAMC will roll out a reduced price digital membership one day.

In passenger side door pocket we have RSPB book, CMC Book, C&C Book, National Trust Book, no idea what else but a thicker cover would cause a problem

I bought one years ago and it's still going strong.  When at home, it lives in the office drawer and is readily available if needed for researching sites etc., but, when away in the van, it comes with us.

We were given one about five years ago; real leather gold embossed. I tried to give it to a charity shop; they didn't want it. 😂
