Gas content gauges

Does anyone know how these work? Is the accuracy effected by the type of gas in the bottle if the the gauge does not match the gas type?

Ocsid has the answer. Translucent cylinders like the BP gaslight or Safefill is the permanent answer peedee. I always know how much I have. - exactly!! 🤣

I agree if you have a one bottle system. I have two refillable bottles with a change over system and all I need to know is the bottle I am using looking like it is nearing empty.
