There seems to be an ever increasing number of outlets who stock Flo Gas and their 6Kg bottles have the same fittings as Calor.

Does anybody use this gas ?

Surely £45 is the price you initially pay if you don't have a bottle to start with. I swapped a 6kg Calor last week for £23.45

£23.45 for 6 kgs so at that rate £50.80 for the 13 kgs, but buying in a larger size and Butane the £45 is in the area one would expect to pay for an exchange.

Is being available on site that important?

To me it is very important.

To change a cylinder about once every couple of years? 😀

Probably the very type of user to be caught short, and needing a spare while the half cooked meal spoils?

More often DD. I use about 6kg over a year. I carry two 3.9kg bottles and so I need a refill once or sometimes twice a year. If one runs empty I will replace on site. Not about to run about to get gas. If non available then next site will do me fine. Why faff about of site in my case?

yup same here, dont know what they charge on sites, but suggest there is bound to be a mark up, have 2 cylinders onboard use maybe 1 per year so never have the need to buy on site.

MM.  No it is the refill swap price.  It is 13kg so sounds correct compared with calor

I used it for our outside BBQ but not used much for several years but have done a lot more this year.  I’ve stopped the regulator and just going to use the Safefill now
