My wife has been thinking of getting a travel clothes steamer to take in the caravan, was wondering does anybody take one and if so are the any good and if so can anybody recommend a particular brand.

Not much response ob 1!  From this it may be safe to assume that not many, if any, people take a clothes steamer with them in their caravan.  It does beg the question why would you need one?  If you take a steamer you would probably be the best dressed caravanners around.  Still, everyone to their own as they say.  Good luck with your research.

Never  thought  of  one  of  those, Obi Wan,  but  I'm  very, very  casual  in  attire. ( Some  might  say  downright scruffy  actually )  The  only  area  where  you  might  find  one  useful  in  GB  possibly  is  the  North  west undecided,  especially  if  you  are  a  climber / walker  where  you  can  get  very  wet  &  clothes  do  tend  to  crease  quite  severely { Think  wringing  them  out  by  hand surprised }

a lot of sites private or club have irons to use so not really needed. I would worry some what about all that steam in a caravan causing condensation on ceiling and walls. frown

Must say it did crease me up when my wife suggested it. Just thought I would ask if anybody used one.

Hi, Ken Obi here. If you need to wash your clothes because you are out on a long trip then just use an ordinary or steam iron to smooth out the wrinkles. A simple towel spread on the table will save you from having to take an ironing board as well.

Have fun

Irons and Ironing Boards were removed from CC sites some years ago. The explanation was "Health & Safety" . Even the electricity sockets were removed or blocked off so you couldn't even use your own equipment.
