Caravan mover remote control

After dropping our remote control for our mover, we were horrified to find prices of £109 and £198 for a new one.  We were also up against the clock, as when we broke it on Sunday, my husband was due to move the caravan to take it to get a damp problem fixed.  I was at work and it is too heavy to move manually on our own.  Even if we had paid the prices, we would not have got the hand set in time to move it on Tuesday and would have lost our slot for the caravan to be fixed.

We were overjoyed, therefore, to find out about www.remotefixer.co.uk who is able to fix remote controls for lots of different devices, including TVs and, fortunately, caravan movers too.  He charges a flat rate of £20 plus 6 pound postage.  There is no charge if he is unable to fix it for you.  He fixed it for us on Monday afternoon and my husband got the caravan off the storage site on his own this morning with no damage to his back!

We just wanted to share this with our fellow caravanners as we came across it by chance.

I've just had my Truma motor mover remote control unit repaired for £20. I took it to him on Friday evening and picked it up on Sunday. He said that he can fix most electrical items which is good to know, I will definitely be using him again. Here are his details;
