Hi all

My caravan in stored ten miles away so cannot check (and forgot when last there)

I can't recall seeing a spanner for connection the regulator to the 6kg bottle

Does anyone know what size spanner it should be?

I can take an adjustable but would also want a spanner to leave in the locker

(2003 Compass)

Thank you

Mine is 30mm smile .... just been & checked. You can buy them, but I considered them expensive, so cut down a normal spanner I already had.

Just a thought.  We replaced our regulators a few years back for a thumb tight wheel.  No need for a spanner any more.  My instinct would be to take off the regulator however you can and replace the regulator with one of these, then forget the spanner.

From my experience, even brand new spanners are a poor fit on the brass nut, even with brand new regulators. There is some play which allows slippage and scuffed knuckles, I wear a pair of gloves to protect my fingers, Perhaps I should try the wheel type.
