We have a Cadac as we have three kids to feed so the problem we have is how to clean something the size of a dustbin lid with a caravan sink which is midget in comparison.

Here are our top tips:

1) Avoid leftovers on the grill plate -threaten children with playground embargo or nintendo ban until said leftovers are eaten.

2) If the above fails then place grill plate by already salivating dog to lick clean -sounds disgusting but you're going to clean it with very hot water anyway! (just remember to take extra poop bags on morning dog walk if you've cooked a curry)

3) Invest in an "over rack soaking tray" from lakeland plastics for £10.99 which allows you to immerse the majority of the grill plate to wash. Tray can be left under caravan  until needed

4) Should it start raining before you fire up your cadac, then tactfully suggest to she who must be obeyed that a KFC/Macdonalds/Fish n Chips would be a preferable alternative!

Joking aside  we found the tray to be a good investment - recommended.
