Best Gadget

Hi, I don't know about you but when I'm in caravanning mode I love wondering around caravan dealers and eyeing up all the gadgets, I'm definitely a bit of a sucker for them and I don't suppose I'm alone. So I wondered - what is your best gadget and why? Mine is the Kampa Easy Awning Pulley which lets me put up my heavy air awning on my own, very hard if not impossible without.  I'm hoping some suggestions and reasons will lead me to a next sensible? purchase.

I'm not convinced that any dehumidifier will work in a caravan because of all the gas drops that allow outside air in to circulate.

A few years ago, the M/H wall had some spots of mould  above the high shelf which is above the side window.  I cleaned them off and put a dehumidifier there (replaced every now and again) and have not had any problems there since, so I assume that it works.

Hi, I’ve found that a couple of recycled plastic Chinese take away containers filled with table salt does the job as well as any dehumidifier and costs pennies.

I forgot the wi-fi booster. This mainly used abroad where our pitches usually have free wi-fi and has picked up reception at over 200m. The second fridge, not a cooler is also a must have. We have previously ran ST rated table top fridge and freezer that would sit side by side in the boot for 6 week trips abroad. We have now switched to a 12v/230v Combicool that will run at down to -15 even when it is 30+ outside.

My favourite gadget is a microwave steamer, and my second favourite is my slow cooker. I can do some really good cooking with these.

The gadget I would like would be something to make it easier to release the door retainer when I want to close the door.
