Bailey 240V Inlet problems

The power inlet is now inside the awning and when the cable is connected it sticks straight out catching your leg when you forget. Has anyone came across a plug that angles downwards, this will not solve the problem but would help.

I don’t want to change the fixed inlet on the caravan just the plug on the end of the cable and all I can find are straight plugs even on eBay.

We have had the identical fitting on our last 2 Hymer’s.  So for the last 8 years.  I had never realised it was any sort of a problem at all, until I started to read complaints from Bailey owners.   Still don’t recognise it as a problem but it is mounted at chest level not knee level.
