Awning to caravan gap - porch

Porch awnings pulled away at bottom by caravan. Third such awning over the years and I have just bought an as new Bradcott Aspire air, previous two have been pole awnings with the same issue each time....

I have the caravan and awning set up on my lawn, practise to see how it goes and hit the same issue. My lawn is reasonably flat, with a very slight slope rising on the awning side. At full 35 pressure, it pulls away at the ground by 4 or 5 inches, the only way to close the gap between awning and the side of the van, is to drop the pressure to 10 on the electric pump.

The problem is caused by the caravan being perfectly level and the awning matching the same level as the ground itself, hence the widening gap from top down to the ground.

Our regular site has more of a side to side slope, so it will be even worse. The only fix with the pole awning was to shorten the poles and run a guy line from the bottom of the awning, under the caravan to peg it at the far side.

Obviously with a air awning, I cannot shorten the air bladders, how do others deal with this issue please?
