Awning pegs

The article in the June Club Magazine about awning pegs lead me to ask if anyone knows of a supplier of the plastic ends of pegs used for hard standings.  After a while these can be broken by a mis-directed mallet although the metal peg itself is O.K.  Caravan shops usually tell me that I've got to buy the whole new peg and this seems daft.  Surely there's an enterprising firm that will supply packs of the plastic bits!  Can anyone help, please?
