Awning pegs for gravel

SWMBO has chosen our Easter break destination and booked the pitch. We will be staying at Riverside Park, South Molton. Its not a club site but we have stayed there before and it is very pleasant. The pitch booked is a hard standing with the addition of chippings / gravel where you would normally erect awnings. I have attempted on previous visit to erect our porch awning with not a great deal of success. The reason is the peg - it just kept pulling out of gravel. Can anyone recommend a decent peg for chippings / gravel please.
