Awning Flooring.

We have just taken delivery of the last piece of the jigsaw that we have had to put together since our Crusader Cyclone got stolen last March 22nd. This was 35 interlocking 14mm thick by 500mm square interlocking foam tiles from softfloor. Enough to cover the floor area of the Isabella Magnum we now have as a replacement awning. We had something similar in the van when it was stolen and we always found them warm to the touch and comfortable in the awning when placed over a groundsheet.  Now, I know that many sites want 'breathable' groundsheets now but I find them awful things with water seeping up through them and wetting your socks! What are your views on this?
