I have a 6kg Propane bottle which I acquired many years ago from a Toolhire shop. It is branded Alta Gas but I have never found another outlet which will provide an exchange. Somebody told me that Shell will exchange the bottle at certain filling stations but does anybody know if the company has gone out of business or whether it is possible to get a refill?
