HI, I’ve just had an ALKO Sawiko Velo III Bike Rack fitted to my Kontiki motorhome, to carry two heavy e-bikes. However, it looks quite low, with only about 6/7 inches ground clearance. Not good for ferries and some campsites. I am meeting with my dealer on Monday to discuss but, initially, I have been told it can’t be raised any further.
Has anyone else on here had a Sawiko rack fitted to a MH?

Hi recently had the memo scooter /bike rack fitted .only used it so far with ebikes on but made life easier to load them it.used to be really heavy lifting them up onto the fiamma rack .even with the wife helping.can do it all now on my own .next job is get moped on the rd and on the rack .it will take one scooter and bike up 150 kgs . but bike and scooter will only weigh 110 kgs .but won't be carrying any water to save on weight .scoot 50cc ideal for France now their speed limits are down to 30 /20 kph in most towns .motorhome payload 650 kgs
