Hi

my internal alarm is flashing twice every 5 seconds, according to booklet this means the back up battery is low and that they generally last 4 to 5 years

mine is 4 year old so I changed the battery but the light is still flashing?

any help appreciated

Is it a Sargent Alarm? If so give them a call.

WHat model? Mine is Sargent 310

As you fitted the battery yourself you are unlikely to have the problem that I had after I had a new alarm fitted under warranty in December. Mine was flashing a short time after collection because a slide switch on the panel inside had not been turned on and so there was no recharge going to the battery in the alarm

Easy, I think you have taken a file from your own computer as the link doesn't work.

I used a link sent by e-mail form Sargent and thought that when I clicked on it and it took me to Chrome and a webpage that it would be general. embarassed
