Oh Nooooo!

Yes I have during my travels inherited a chip in my screen. It is not as I understand in the area that would fail it on an MOT, albeit that is the case I wish to have it sorted to prevent further damage.

Has anyone experienced the repair route with this type of damage.

I have seen the mobile units at the local supermarkets that offer no insurance penalty for the repair and fix it there and then, does this apply to motorhomes as per cars.

Is this the case or is there a hidden agenda for having it done by them.

Also I have seen the kit at the local stores that allows you the opportunity to do it yourself and picked this up only to think well it will never be as good as the real thing .............. or will it?

It is a toughened screen maybe it should be left as it is not effecting the vision but having seen recent ads it would suggest that this does weaken it

Your comments would be greatly received thanks Regards

Pete
