Rather than use a wheel lock have a look at the Centinel Clutch Claw. It is a device that fits over the brake and clutch pedals, locking them together and thus preventing the vehicle being driven away. It is so easy to fit and as it is inside the vehicle its a clean job. It is also in a confined space making removal extremely difficult. Sorry can't do links but it's a simple find on Google.

Thank you for your suggestion, first time I have come across this product. Watched on YouTube, seems initial set up takes a little time but thereafter easy to use.
