Emailed our supplier re Problems and Expenses we had incurred since March with our New Auto-trail.

1. Media Pack needed to be replaced day after purchase 140 mile round trip.

2. Electrics inside van offside cable came loose, all panels had to be removed to hook up cable. (Cut too short) Chatsworth c/c to Holmes Chapel 70miles round trip.

3. Fire fell off wall. Lady Margaret c/c to Holmes Chapel 30miles.

4. Water leak behind shower panel whilst on holiday in Cornwall - Had to purchase and Manage 2 weeks with purchased water carrier £49.00

5. Had to book Camp site near Holmes Chapel on return to take in van £24.00

6. Outstanding recall to Fiat Dealer 30miles round trip.

Supplier emailed Auto-trail and this is the email they sent back to supplier.

Although I am sorry that the customer has experienced a number of issues I do not feel that this is exceptional however, I would not expect the customer to be out of pocket for purchasing a water carrier as a direct result of a failure with the water system so, if the customer can supply a copy of the invoice I would be happy to cover the cost of £49.00.

If the customer is in agreement I would suggest that you reimburse the amount and invoice Auto-Trail accordingly.

Regards

Colin

Do you think after paying £50,000 for one of their Motorhomes you would be as insulted and disgusted as we are.
