Have come across various ways with the NTS sticker BB, if there is an updated machine that is scanning I will ask. The scan is to check how many members are using the car parks apparently, their FAQs explain it. At Stourhead we go and get a "special" ticket from reception.
DD, the bubbles or lack of them have yet to be inspected....have you got a listening device over in Y?!

Went to open the habitation door and there was a little ping and tinkle as something dropped inside. Long story short. A pin had broken in the lock handle and full replacement was the only option. Now £135 lighter in my wallet even though I changed it myself
.
So what have you had to fix this month?

We had a similar failure if not exactly the same one on our habitation door lock. The tiniest of a 'pin' snapped off which meant the door could not be opened from the outside although the rest of the operations all worked well. Luckily the mechanism was replaced FOC by the dealer as it was only a few months old. Dealer told us it was not an uncommon occurance.

Hopefully by having to scan your membership card for free parking the misuse will reduce and more parking will be available for bonafide members.

Posted on 07/04/2018 20:43 by TinwheelerThe stickers are/were very each to obtain at a NT office. One year we had 3 - one in each vehicle.
Perhaps I should have put them on eBay.

Until recently we had to pay £5 for an extra NTS sticker. This year two arrived rather than one. As the NT car parks don't all have machines and the car parks are reciprocal I'm not going to worry about it. In their FAQs they say they can't fine you but you might get a disapproving letter.
