Nice and easy one for a Tuesday...how do you dry them?

I see lots of people hanging them over the wing mirrors or on airers out of windows but when it's raining, have people come up with creative ways to dry? Tongue Out

hang in shower leave door open close blower vents in main bit but fully open vent in washroom. Gets toasty warm and dries in no time.

This could work beautifully given where my toilet door and blower is - love it!

But not great on the move.....Happy

As my husband will only too readily share...I move very little whilst away WinkWinkWinkWink

We have hooks in shower that anything damp/wet hang from

I have always wondered........do MHers who drape their towels over their wing mirrors clean off the mirrors first?

Just never seen any of them actually doing so.

Write your comments here...the only towels i hang over the wing mirrors are the Dogs towels. She doesnt mind a bit of road grime.

We use microfibre towels which dries quite quickly, I use skirt hangers to hang them in the awning or shower rail if raining.

I fitted a small electric towel rail in the bathroom. It works well when we're on EHU. I bought it from ebay.

We do exactly the same.  When we're moving between sites we leave the towels hanging on a special rail in the bathroom, and open the bathroom window on to the second 'peg' of the fastening.  It's amazing just how they dry 'in transit'.

If they're not completely dry then they hang with the blown air on full (all other vents closed) and are soon toasty again!

In the past, when we used to holiday in this country where the weather is not so good, we used a plug in fan heater when on site, popped it in the bathroom on the first setting, and left it whilst we were doing other things.  That worked very well in cold, damp English weather!

We use both standard terry towels and micro towels. The micro ones dry very quickly hanging on  skirt hangers in the shower room (we have an extender rail across the room) if we are not on the move then we have another longer extender pole (I also use it as the handle on my sweeping brush) this pole sits just nicely across the tops of the overhead lockers in the cab. I have found this very good for draping terry towels over to dry also for hanging Tshirts etc from hangers, like ET its a bit like chinese laundry but its at the cab end and in the shower so even if we are in the van its not in the way.

If its nice outside we put them on the bike rack. Its usually more of a problem later in the year. Our bathroom gets pretty warm when the heating is on and we find the towels dry quite well.

We bought four extra large (bath) and two large (hand) towels in 2009 Lifeadaventure. Not cheap but after perhaps 750 nights away they are still as good as new. Two advantages because they dry in a different way (blotting rather than rubbing) they become less wet and also better for your skin because they don't rub off abrasively natural oils (according to my GP) and they dry themselves much more quickly. Don't recall drying them ever just spread out on the washroom rail. Washroom is heated according to season.
