Waste Water?

Having just returned to caravanning, after a break of around 10 years, but this time with a Motorhome, I have question regarding the disposal of waste water on CLs.

Looking through the Sites Directory, I note that many CLs do not list a waste water disposal facility for Motorhomes.

I certainly don't want to go back to using a Waste Master, as we did with the caravan, so what do you guys do?

I have seen some people letting it drain onto the road while driving, but that would seem to be a good way of getting Motothome users, a bad name, and I wouldn't do it.

On both clubs dumping waste into hedges is frowned upon as the pitches on most of both clubs sites are used more than most cl/vs which would cause an unsavoury build up and be very attractive to flies much to the detriment of other later usersfrown

I don’t believe they are any busier than many continental sites that we have been on. If you are tent camping you don’t really have a choice so caravan or motorhome should be no different. Maybe it’s the possibility of all those redundant Waste Masters.

Not sure what you are suggesting. Perhaps that foreigners have bad habits? Based on 30 years of touring Europe I would suggest that the Dutch are the best, tidiest and neatest campers. Interesting then that they don’t have wastemasters and put a bucket under the waste outlet which mysteriously never gets full. Just an observation.

Over here I now use a bucket.  At the moment on this CL I am using the waste water to allow the young trees to survive and any food residue feeds the wildlife.  I also use the same system over there.
