Varta LFS 105 Leisure Battery. What type is it?

Hi Guys,

I have a Bailey Approach 745. I’ve recently bought a Biard 100W solar panel with a dual battery controller that I hope to charge both the leisure battery and the vehicle battery with. I hope to get it fitted soon.

I need to set the type of battery on the controller so i looked today at the leisure battery. Its Varta, but it doesn’t state on it what type it is. Its says Varta Marine and Caravan Professional LFS 105, with a CCA of 570A.

I looked at the Varta website and elsewhere, and can’t get any idea of what type of battery it is. I’m thinking its a cheaper flooded cell type.

Anybody know for sure?

Diesel nit say the technology but another site says flooded whatever that is. http://barden-uk.com/product/varta-professional-lfs105/

Thanks for this. I found the first link, but not the second and that page states "Flooded" which is all I need to know at this stage.
