Towing a car...

Hi everyone

Following one too many occurences of being unable to park our Rapido 7099 to look round a small town (in this case Westerham) because of parking restrictions, we are thinking about towing my wife's Mini.

The 'van is built on a Fiat Ducatto and has a 2.8 litre engine.

The question is: Trailer or A-frame?

I believe there are questions regarding the legality of A-frames in Europe, if so the answer is 'trailer'.

We have no wish to switch to tugging a caravan, as there will still beoccassions we won't want to take the car and we prefer the independance we get with the motorhome (on board  > 100 litre fresh water tank & c 80 litre gray waste tank)

Does anybody have any recomendations for trailers or A-frames?

Any technical issues to be aware of?

Any and all advice gratefully received!.

We have considered 'downsizing' our van, but it gives us everything we want, so that's not an option either.

Regards

Mike
