Single bed Motorhomes?

We’ve had our Autotrail Tracker FB for nearly 10 years and have loved it. However the ‘French bed’ is becoming difficult and we are considering a change to something with 2 single beds. We take two dogs with us and don’t want to fiddle about making up a bed every night. But we can’t go with anything longer than 7 metres, so maybe need something with two long benches that will double as beds. Any suggestions or advice please

There are lots of MHs that will suit your requirements, depending on your budget.  Have a look at this selection.

We travel with a dog and have a 7.4m Dethleffs Advantage with 2 fixed beds over a large garage.  It's a bit longer than you are looking for, but Dethleffs MHs are first class (in my opinion) and if you look at the Globebus range there are a number of sub 7m models.

You can have a layout with forward lounge, central washroom and kitchen and rear fixed singles all in 7m and under these days...

on a continental van you'll also get huge garage storage under the beds yet a couple of steps will give easy access to them. The world really is you're oyster as this is the best selling layout in Europe currently.

if you look at two long benches, which is primarily the lounge, you could have a larger washroom but would have far less storage and you'd still be 'making up the beds' although if you're happy with sleeping bags this might not be too difficult.
