Another question

We currently have a 2005 peugeot boxer based compass avant-garde 200 and our new mh is a 2016 peugeot boxer based elddis autoquest 155 but in a majestic trim by marquis

My question is will my 2005 silverscreens fit the new van I know they say upto 2006 but was just wondering/hoping that this was a marketing ploy and the dimensions are the same I can't seem to find any dimensions on the net thanks for any help

If you are buying a new screen buy the longer version that covers the bonnet vents. The picture below is one made by Taylormade.

David that's the one we are going to get

I take the extended version is there to stop water running into the engine bay

Which is something the X250 Ducatos/Boxers launched in 2007 were prone to leading to recalls and modifications.

Being a bit thick here but given that you have an internal screen what s the purpose of the "silver screen"? Winter insulation? You can see we are new to motorhomes!

We are also relatively new to motorhoming but yes they help with insulation in winter also keeping the van cooler in summer and reducing condensation

External screens prevent condensation, internal ones don't. For that reason alone I prefer them.
