I couldn't get the compartment where the gas bottle is housed, opened, I tried a couple of times over the last two/three days. I rang the Company who carry out the servicing for me and he suggested unlocking the compartment and with a little force try opening it. This I did this morning and it worked. I cleaned round the compartment door etc but when I came to locking it again the locks (one top, one bottom) which were in the locked position hadn't locked the compartment door. When I checked neither of the 'buttons' had popped out to engage. I rang the Company again and the chap suggested that one of the springs might be out of place. He said it was very easy and simple to unscrew the lock and reset the springs. This evening I got a neighbour to help. Now I have a disassembled plastic lock (most of it sitting on the coffee table) with the other one still in situ. Needless to say the compartment remains unlocked. Has anybody any idea how to reassemble the lock or where I can get a replacement? Unfortunately the company as above are at a distance and I cannot take the chance of driving to them as the compartment door could possibly fly open en transit. My neighbour has suggested taking the door off and trying to reassemble both locks (weekend) I'm not keen. PLEASE HELP. I've tried U-Tube but no success. Unfortunately I can't get the pics I took to upload albeit they are within range. Locks are plastic. AJ
