We had similar treatment when ours went in for routine M O T and something to do with the excelerator pedal , the van looked like someone had been sleeping in it dirty toilet used (we never used i) and bolts missing off engine only noticed when it was started up, numerous other things as well , there attitude and I quote , can you prove it wasen't like this when brought in Anyway we contacted the very top in Peugeot explaining and and enclosing photos
They were onto it straight away within days gave us permission to take it to any garage of our choice at any cost and they would cover it , it was eventually soughted but only after missing a number of holidays which Peugeot compensated us for
The Peugeot dealer where it was taken do not any longer service or repair motorhomes if your van is under warranty contact the makers head office by email it worked for us
good luck

Thats A good use for CCTV if the garage / dealer has it. Walk round with the Receptionist or whoever and both point out any scratches, dents etc on booking in. Then do the same on collection ==> that should satisfy everybody on external side of things at least.
