Peugeot Dash Problems

Two months ago I bought a new Peugeot Autosleeper Kemerton XL, on the way home (100 miles) I had various dash lights glowing.

My previous post advised me that this was a known problem, 3 local Peugeot dealers have of course never heard of the problem. I took the van into one for them to look at, they agreed there was a problem and would order a new dash, a week later they needed the van back as they need to identify the dash as it could be one of two dashes.

The part arrives and the van goes back again, now the van has been with then two days and whilst the lights have gone out the dash is stuck in Spanish and they are waiting for Peugeot Technical to help.

Are these vans fit for purpose? Any one had a similar issue?

this issue has also been raised in MMM...there is a guy there, Nick Fisher, who runs his own fleet of Ducatos and is renowned as a guru....

his view....poor earthing....there is a braided earth strap that runs to the gearbox which can becom partially detached and causes no end of electrical gremlins....a simple solution, clean and refix.....

worth a mention do the dealer if you're not up to fixing yourself...
