Hi

We are new to motorhoming and would like to ask some advice, which I am sure has been asked many times before! But the more I surf, the more confused I get.

We are looking for a porch type awning, it doesn't need to be a driveaway one, but does need to be very study in the wind, my Son does motorsport, so without guy ropes.  We will make up some kind of weighting sytem as we will more often be pitching on concrete. we wanted something like a quest Elite snowdon porch.  Does anyone know of anything that would be suitable.  I read on one forum that they have used a caravan awning! Would this be suitable? There is a rail fitted underneath the fiamma canopy which is 248cm, and looks like the sort you could slide something into.     We have seen a fiamma privacy room, and spoken to 3 different users as to the strength of them, and been given "it is brilliant" "it is okay but be careful" and "steer clear".

Any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance
