Hi All

Looking to buy our first MH soon, and was wondering if anybody had used motorhome depot they look very professional online but looks can be decieving..!!

It looks like a Brokers not a dealer in the true sence of the word ,they sell vehicles for others for a "commision"

yes, they are a brokers.

you can see the MHs at the owners' houses, the website, the photos, the valuations and descriptions all come from MHdepot.

im not sure if you would pay the owner, who in turn pays MHD, or the other way round....

due to the 'professional' website and desc/photos, i suspect prices are a tad higher than a straight private sale, hence scope to lose a little 'commission'.

i guess from a seller's perspective, 'their' van looks a little more attractive?

Always, buyer beware. the law tries to protect the buyer but the seller is always one step ahead. The odds are that , if only in a smal way you will get ripped off.

if you have a friend that is a mechanic on vehicals, take him with you, but its the conversion that will hide the biggest faults and not the base vehical.
