Hi - I own a 58 plate Trigano Tribute motorhome, with approx 33,000 miles on the clock. Yesterday the van started ok but after I pulled into a petrol station to get a paper and returned to the van it would not start. None of the dash lights would come on despite several attempts being made to start the van. I called out the RAC and the technician also had several goes. On 1 occasion the dash lights came on very briefly but the van did not start. The technician advised me that there was a fault with the ignition barrel switch. The van was relayed back to my local garage for repair and the necessary part is on order. This morning when I was getting stuff out of the van I thought I would see if it would start - and it did! Clearly there is some fault with the switch that is intermittent. The RAC technician mentioned that in the last few days he had dealt with a similar problenm with another 58 plate Ducato. Has anyone out there had a problem with their ignition barrel switch?

Thanks.
