It's Wednesday and I'm inside my motorhome with dog and wife escaping the wild torrential rain we are curently having here at Slimbridge. Looks like we'll be in here for a few hours watching Jeremy Kyle with our expresso coffe machine working hard. My water proof has given up being waterproof and my shorty wellies don't even want to go outside..

So could somebody remind me why I bought a motorhome? frown Alternatively if it's sunny where you are let me know and I'll boot up the sat nav and move....laughing

Even if you do find somewhere to park a van (here or on continent) I always had that uncomfortable feeling as I walked away any low life would see it as a sitting target!

Oh I know that feeling, we've only done it a couple of times, parked up and walked or cycled into town. Can't say I enjoyed it, was nervous/worried about the m/h, would it still be there when we go back, will someone have broken into it, or worse has someone damaged it just for badness. When you think all your possessions are in the van and folk know that.
