We're planning to head off in the mh next week.   We'll be meandering south from Scotland to Hampshire and then on to south Devon.

Our first stop will be Englethwaite for the night and then perhaps somewhere in Yorkshire, but does anyone have any favourite sites to recommend or know of any drawbacks with going later on in the season?    Apart from the weather, but it's been pretty bad all over this summer.

We know that "half term" is coming up and some places are already booked up

Any advice would be very welcome!
