(Moved from Caravans)

We are currently in France and recently survived a mighty storm (in which we thought the wind would roll us over) lightening, thunder and half inch HAIL ... we were just grateful to be alive in the morning. But we've noticed that there's significant PITTING (dimpling) all the way down one side of our motorhome (where the hail stones struck) - has anyone else experienced this before? - is it worth getting repaired? - will it significantly devalue the van ( if not repaired)? - are there downsides to getting the whole side of the van repaired (to the integrity of the van, appearance, insurance premiums etc) ?
