folding bike carriers

On our previous motorhome we fitted our two folding electric bikes on a Fimma Pro cycle rack. I used to fold down the handle bars and obviously removed the batteries. Although the folding bikes were well within the weight limit of the rack they were heavier than our previous push bikes so slightly more difficult to lift up onto the rack. As yet we don't have a rack on our current motorhome but it seems it will be higher up which could be a problem as it will be further to lift the bikes.
