Fiamma Self Supporting Motorcaravan Awning

Does anyone out there have any experience of the Fiamma Self Supporting Motorhome Awning, good or bad? Thinking of purchasing one but my main concern is will the motorhome outer wall be strong enough to support it when fully extended? I am aware that a wind sensor is part of the kit but how sensitive is it? I'm concerned about possible damage to the motorhome.
